Business Outsourcing Services In The U.S.A

Business outsourcing services have been around almost as long as there have been businesses.  The majority of these outsourcing services have been shipping and receiving companies until recently.  The not so sudden change from hiring employees to hiring business outsourcing services has been brought about by the ever-increasing costs of hiring personnel and keeping personnel on the company payroll.

The most common type of business outsourcing services is shipping and receiving services.  This service is used by nearly all businesses in United States as it is significantly cheaper to hire a company to transport production than it is for the business to do it.  If the business were hiring its own fleet, trucks would need to be bought, personnel hired to repair and operate the trucks.  Insurance is mandatory in most states and should be cared by any truck transporting production, which is another cost to add up.  There is also the upkeep of the truck to consider, with oil and gasoline prices on the rise, this could get very costly.  That is just the truck aspect of the shipping expense.  There is also the employee to consider.  There must be operator employees and mechanical personnel, both of which require certain benefits for working full time which usually includes the ever-expensive insurance.  With these costs associated to shipping product alone, it is no wonder that business outsourcing services started here.

The next most common of the business outsourcing services is the call center.  Call centers are where calls are placed and received away from the business doing the outsourcing.  Call centers can save a business a lot of money.  If a business were to hire personnel, instead of business outsourcing services, to place and receive the calls of the business, desks would need to be bought, computers purchased, maintained and updated, and phone lines would need updated or put in.  There are also the employees who need to be addressed.  Each employee should receive the benefits given to all full time employees.  There is also the constant training needed for these employees so that they remain familiar with the product or service that it is intended for them to sell.

Job agencies are cropping up at an impressive rate as business outsourcing services.  Job agencies are human resource departments that are outsourced by various businesses to find, screen, hire and pay incoming employees.  If a business were to take on the process of hiring personnel alone, without the aid of a job agency, the costs can skyrocket.  There is the training of the manager who would be conducting the interviews; there is the time in which the manager would conduct interviews.  There is wasted time and money in which a person would be trained if that person did not work properly for the company.  There would be the costs of any benefits gleaned by the employee.  Job agencies or Human Resource business outsourcing services can cut the risks, time, and money lost by screening people ahead of time and gleaning out those without the proper knowledge or experience.
